Robert Hashemiyoon, M.D.

Dr. Robert Hashemiyoon graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from the prestigious Ivy League University of Pennsylvania with a double major: one in Biology and one in History & Sociology of Science. This gave Dr. Hashemiyoon an insightful perspective into the societal and cultural workings of the health care system. He began to appreciate the general and specific ramifications of new technology and population minds sets as we grow and develop in our society.

His post-graduate training was at the internationally renowned Washington Hospital Center, home to the top cardiac center in the world. His practical training in clinical medicine and his unique sociological perspective of the mind set of the masses put him always on the forefront of cutting edge medicine. Long before it became vogue and standard medicine Dr. Hashemiyoon was supporting and lecturing on the concept of anti-aging medicine. His endeavors led to many innovations that were years ahead of their time. He was treating his patients with hormnone repalcement therapy in 1992. He was treating his patients for hair loss with finsateride in 1993. He did the early research to get a major anti-viral medication FDA approved which is now the definitive medication for CMV retinitis for AIDS patients. It has also been looked at by the US military as the strongest anti-terrorist weapon against a biological attack using DNA viruses such as virulent Smallpox.

As his career carried him across the United States Dr. Robert Hashemiyoon trained many doctors and nurses on various cosmetic techniques. His training and lecturing also took him abroad to Australia and Belgium where he was asked to lecture to large conference rooms filled with doctors eager to hear of his innovative and practical teachings.

Settling in Southern California Dr. Hashemiyoon is now the founder and medical director of Elite Medical Cosmetic Centers, Elite Hair Institute, and American Medical Evaluation Centers. His newest venture has been to co-found the Elite Urgent Care Centers in Southern California with Dr. Vincent Bennett.
